The Republic Light Assault Cruiser was a fast attack corvette from the Clone Wars. The Rebel Navy had a few of them but replaced them with the more advanced CR90 Corvettes as they could.

CR70 Corvette

The predecessor for the classic CR90 corvette, the CR70 was popular during the Clone Wars. With the advent of the CR90, the CR70s are either being upgraded or replaced.

The stats above were for the stock model which was not produced in large numbers.

The Corporate Sector Authority bought many of them and they included 1 squadron of starfighters.

The Rebels used a variant that did not include turbolasers but had 4 concussion missile launchers instead.

The Imperial Navy rarely used this vessel, they had better and newer options available.

Guardian-class Light Cruiser

The Guardian-class was one of the three main vessels used by Imperial Customs, along with Imperial Customs Corvette built by Rendili StarDrive.

They were also used as patrol vessels, where their fast hyperdrive was an asset. In fleet engagements they were used in a picket role, although they were rarely used in such roles.

CR90 Covette

The CR90 was created before the Clone Wars as a fast, easily modifiable corvette.

It was built by Corellian Engineering Corporation based out of the Corellian system.

As a CEC vessel the CR90 Corvette had a number of standard configurations for different roles. (It could also be modified in any number of ways.) The stats above are for the standard configuration.

The transport / support vessel variant has no weapons and generates a small amount of income and extra space 'population' allowed.

There was also a heavily armed version, I haven't come up with the stats for that yet, but it would at least have 6 dual turbolasers instead of 2. Maybe a concussion missile launcher as well.

Assassin-class Corvette

The Assassin-class was created before the Battle of Hoth as militarized version of the CR90 Corvette. It had a stronger hull, heavier shields and more weapons than its predecessor.

The Tartan-class was created during the Rise of the Empire period as an anti-piracy patrol vessel. It was fast and had advanced sensors - one of its strengths.

This ship was built by the same manufacturer as the Carrack-class Light cruiser.

IPV-1 System Patrol Craft

Post Essential Guide to Warfare, you cannot talk about the Imperial Navy without talking about the IPV-1 System Patrol Craft.

The IPV is the most common vessel in the Imperial Navy, with up to 24 stationed on each system. It was commonly used by Imperial Customs.

The main issue with this vessel is that it is not supposed to have a hyperdrive. To get around this I plan on implementing 2 things:

1. Giving the vessel an extremely slow hyperdrive.
2. Stationing the IPV at Cardan-class stations and XQ1 Imperial Customs stations.
