Liberator Cruiser

The Liberator Cruiser was a powerful front line SoroSuub Corporation capital ship used by the Rebel Alliance Fleet during the Galactic Civil War. It had heavy shielding and armour for a ship of its size, and its large complement of starfighters made it a valuable addition to the Rebel Navy.

Bulwark Mark III Battlecruiser

Bulwarks were updated models of Clone War era vessels used by the Rebel Navy. They were the most powerful ships the Alliance used during the Galactic Civil War.

They would have fit under the Star Cruiser sub-class of Battlecruisers in the Anaxes War College system.

Loronar-class Battlecruiser

The Loronar-class Battlecruiser, or Imperial Communications Ship, is this mod's tying together of two relatively unknown vessels in the Star Wars universe, the Pride of Tarlandia communications ship seen at the Battle of Endor and the Loronar Battleship - which is known of but we do not have any details for.

Loronar is mostly known for the Strike-class Medium Cruiser but they did build some of the larger ships in the Imperial Navy.

I do not know the stats, but I would have this as a generalist command ship that mainly co-ordinated ships during large fleet battles.


I am basing the 5km length based on Curtis Saxton's Technical Commentaries which guesses at it as a 6km vessel === we know battlecruisers only go to 5km though so I am capping it at that size.

Rendili-class Battlecruiser

The Rendili-class Battlecruiser is this mod's tying together of two relatively unknown vessels in the Star Wars universe, the Rendili Battleship and the Star Destroyer-class Battlecruiser.

While Rendili StarDrive was reduced to mostly filling out weapons platforms under the Empire and servicing their older starship designs, they did produce some battleship sized vessels.

I do not know the stats, but I would have this as a generalist command ship / fighting capital ship in the mold of the Victory II-class Star Destroyer.

Tagge-class Battlecruiser

The Tagge-class Battlecruiser was built by Tagge Industrial Shipyards Limited, the same company that produced the Modular Taskforce Cruiser. From what I can tell it is lumped in with other members of the Star Destroyer-class Battlecruisers, so I've given it the uncannon name of Tagge-class Battlecruiser.

Praetor Mark II-class Battlecruiser

The Praetor Mark II-class Battlecruiser is one of the vessels I was most hoping to learn more about in the new Essential Guide to Warfare. I was interested in this vessel when I learned the Rebels used an old Praetor's power reactor to power their ion cannon on Hoth.

You can read the Wookiepedia summary of the ship here. I envision it as a command ship where dreadnaughts are too expensive to be used, so it would be in medium importance locations.

It is a real vessel that we do not have all the stats as cannon yet so I have to made educated guesses on them. What do you think? Does it sound about right? It is supposed to have over 90 heavy weapons.

I originally was using a model from the Phoenix Rising mod but I believe I have found one that fits better. Have a model I can use for this? Let me know.

If you are part of the PR team, I might still be able to use that model for the Star Destroyer-class Battlecruiser (3.2+km) used by Captain Wermis. Would that be ok?

Allegiance-class Star Battlecruiser

The Allegiance-class Star Battlecruiser can serve as either a command ship for smaller fleets or as an escort vessel to a larger dreadnaught. At 2.2 km long it would have fit into the Star Cruiser subgroup of the Star Battlecruiser class.

It appears to serve a similar role to the Tector-class Star Destroyer and would have eventually replaced the Tector in that role. As it has no starfighter compliment it would have had much less versatility to standard Imperial-class Star Destroyers.

Unless I make a special hero ship, I am also planning the Shockwave being of the Allegiance-class.
