Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser

The Vindicator-class Heavy Cruiser is my favourite vessel in the Imperial Navy.

It was the Navy's standard heavy cruiser or frigate and would have replaced the Clone Ways era Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser in that role.

You can read the Wookiepedia summary of the ship here. It is primarily used as a frigate and patrol vessel. It can carry a full wing of TIE fighters so is useful where Star Destroyers are not practical.

My main question about this vessel is what is used more, this or the Class II Frigate? I would assume the Vindicator-class is used way more since it is more heavily armed and can be used either alone, in small groups or as part of large fleet operations. The Class II seems to be stuck in its two small roles, where the Imperial Navy is not expecting a large or dangerous Rebel presence.
