A-9 Vigilance Interceptor

The A-9 Interceptor was KDY's attempt to take some of the starfighter business from SFS.

It was similar to the Rebellion's A-Wing, it was fast - had heavy lasers and died easily. Unlike the A-Wing, it had no hyperdrive or shields.

Because it had no hyperdrive it had to operate from a capital ship such as a Nebulon-B Escort Frigate or a Class II-Frigate. (Both were KDY ships, the Empire didn't seem to want them on Star Destroyers)
