Lancer-class Frigate

The Lancer-class was first conceived at the end of the Clone Wars but did not see production until after the Rebels had destroyed the first Death Star.

For its use it was expensive. It was also slow and lightly shielded, making it an easy target for Rebel capital ships.

But it was very good at destroying Rebel starfighters and starfighter bases.
